While other GOP contenders are dropping out like flies, Mitt Romney is still very much in the race. At a fundraising event in Las Vegas on Monday, Romney announced to his supporters via conference call: "We're activating our campaign today." The day-long fundraiser is expected to amount to several million dollars. The former governor of Massachusetts has not yet officially announced his run, but he seemed pretty confident on Monday, saying he could win the presidency on his economic expertise alone. "My experience, my history is in turning things around," Romney said. "I will get America on the right track again." He also pointed a chastising finger at President Obama for the United States' current unemployment rate, which has been above 8 percent throughout Obama's term.
