Has Google come up with a whole new way to send you ads? The company announced Wednesday that it has begun testing augmented-reality glasses as part of its mysterious Project Glass initiative. Designed at the company’s secretive Google X laboratory, the glasses feature location services and allow streaming of information to the lenses. Wearers can also use voice commands to send and receive messages, and take pictures and videos through a built-in camera. The glasses are not for sale yet, but the company is set to begin to start testing it in public places.
