A man arrested Wednesday for allegedly setting fire to a Houston mosque on Christmas Day regularly attended the institution for five years, visiting five times per day to pray seven days per week, the Houston Chronicle reported. Local native Gary Nathaniel Moore, 37, told officials he'd been at the mosque earlier that day to pray and went home around 2 p.m. He told police he was the last person to leave the mosque and saw no smoke or other signs of fire when he left. Moore was identified as the suspect, however, via surveillance footage.
