A former firefighter who allegedly shot a waitress for asking him not to smoke has been indicted on a first-degree murder charge, less than a year after the crime took place. The incident occurred in a Waffle House in Biloxi, Mississippi. The victim, Julie Brightwell, had asked former firefighter Johnny Max Mount not to smoke inside the restaurant, which prompted a fatal response. Witnesses in the trial against Mount later testified that he had been smoking an e-cigarette. Mount is now being held on a $2 billion bond.
