A CNN reporter was almost hit with flying, fiery debris while covering the ongoing Los Angeles wildfire. The journalist, Nick Watt, was reporting from the Palisades Village Tuesday night during the dangerous fires. In the clip, the camera zooms in on a burning apartment building, with Watt in the background audibly shocked after debris flies at him. “Jesus! Woah... Sorry, I nearly got hit by something there,” Watt said, saying that he needed to move back. “We just watched this building just disintegrate, and a little part of that building nearly hit me there.” Watt, alongside other reporters covering the deadly fires, are facing dangerous conditions as well over 5,000 acres have been burned with about 1,000 structures destroyed. Another reporter from KCAL Los Angeles was seen live on air getting hit in the face with bright red embers.
