UFC fighter Conor McGregor accepted a plea deal Thursday that allows him to avoid serving any jail time, months after he was arrested on a series of charges—including two felonies—for “throwing objects” at a bus carrying other UFC fighters. USA Today reports that McGregor’s April outburst injured two fighters, Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg, which prevented them from competing in scheduled fights. McGregor was arrested hours after the incident, and released on $50,000 bail. He pleaded guilty Thursday to “disorderly conduct,” a misdemeanor, and will complete five days of community service and one to three days of anger management. A fellow fighter who was also seen attacking the bus, Cian Cowley, accepted a similar deal.
