Construction workers in Valdosta, Georgia, stumbled into a rather creepy surprise on Thursday. While working in the T.B. Converse Building, workers unearthed thousands of human teeth hidden behind a wall. Archivists found the building housed several different dentists over the years. It appears some dentists would stash extracted teeth behind walls before health codes called for them to be disposed of in medical-waste containers. Similar troves of teeth have been found in former dentist offices in Greensboro and Carrolton.
