A Frontier Airlines passenger had to be restrained by fellow flyers when he had a mid-air meltdown and kicked a crack into a window, according to local media. The man became erratic just 20 minutes into the Denver, Colorado, to Houston, Texas, journey on Tuesday night. Fellow passenger Victoria Clark told KHOU how he began hitting the seat in front of him when a woman asked to be moved. She left and chaos began, reports stated. Pictures show the plexiglass inner cover of the window with a large crack across it, the window slat was also broken. Clark, who was sitting directly across the aisle, said she was traveling with her three-year-old. “It’s just me and this man and I start freaking out, having a panic attack. Tears, I start screaming for help, ‘Somebody come help us, I’m scared,‘” she said. Passengers, including Clark’s partner and crew, eventually restrained the man, reportedly using shoelaces and flex cuffs. The flight continued to Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport, where he was arrested on the tarmac. The New York Post reported that the airline has not pressed charges.
