Famed director Danny Boyle, known for Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours, has exited the spy-action flick Bond 25 over “creative differences,” according to a Tuesday report from Variety. Boyle’s departure from the latest James Bond sequel was announced on Twitter, where the official James Bond account wrote that “Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig today announced that due to creative differences Danny Boyle has decided to no longer direct Bond 25.” The film is reportedly still in the casting stage, with production set to begin in December. It is not yet clear if Boyle’s departure will push back the film’s release, which is currently scheduled for November 8, 2019.
