Woman Arrested After She ‘Took Immigration Tests for 14 People’ While Wearing Wigs

A brazen woman allegedly deployed wigs and an array of personalities to try to dupe U.K. immigration officials into thinking she was at least 14 different people vying to live in Britain. The unnamed woman, who reportedly drives a London bus, remains in custody after she was busted by police. Mail Online reported that immigrant clients forked out in return for the 61-year-old sitting their citizenship tests across multiple test centers. The publication also stated that suspicious test center workers tipped off investigators. “A woman has been arrested on suspicion of completing UK citizenship tests for at least 14 applicants,“ the Home Office wrote on X. ”She allegedly used disguises to pass herself off as the true applicants. These fraudsters lead to people wrongly being granted the right to remain, putting the public at risk.” The body executed an arrest warrant at an address in north London on Monday, finding a slew of false documents and a stash of wigs. A woman was arrested on suspicion of fraudulently completing Life in the U.K. tests. These tests are aimed at quizzing a foreign national’s knowledge on U.K. history and values.
