Just days after taking over Twitter, Elon Musk has reportedly ordered job cuts, with layoffs to start immediately, The New York Times reports. It’s not clear how many of the platform’s 7,500 employees will be pink-slipped this weekend, but managers were told to start drawing up lists of those to be let go, the newspaper reported. A possible reason for the rush: Musk could try to wriggle out of paying workers stock grants scheduled for Nov. 1.
