Elon Musk is close to opening his anti-woke preschool in Texas after authorities cleared the way for it to operate with 21 pupils, according to official documents. The Montessori school outside Bastrop, part of the Greater Austin metropolitan area, will be called Ad Astra, according to Bloomberg, citing documents filed with state authorities. Its website says it’s “currently open to all children ages 3 to 9,” while the official X page is currently displaying job listings. Bloomberg reported that the proposed schedule seemed “fairly typical.” It includes “thematic, STEM-based activities and projects” as well as outdoor play and nap time. “Ad Astra’s mission is to foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in the next generation of problem solvers and builders,” reads the school’s website. Musk also has a school in Los Angeles, California that teaches an “Elon style curriculum,” according to Mirror U.S. He has railed against “regular schools” and curriculums in the past.
