When celebrities start their ascent to the top, a gradual makeover tends to happen—personal trainers, stylists, and a hair and makeup team swoop down in full force to make sure each star is red carpet-ready around the clock. As desirable as these stars may be, sometimes we can’t help but wonder—what do they look like behind all the glitz and glamour? Los Angeles-based artist Danny Evans helps us see just that in his make-under series, which began in 2006. From Beyoncé and Jay Z to Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, Evans has given celebrities the “normal” treatment, Photoshopping their faces onto various portraits of the average citizen. In an exclusive collection for The Daily Beast, Evans has added a new generation of celebrities—including Blake Lively, Selena Gomez, and Justin Bieber—to his growing collection. Even if it’s just for a moment, these stars really are just like us.
