It began with Delta Air Lines suspending all flights and US Airways and United Airlines each canceling two. European airlines are continuing to operate as usual for now. A spokesman for Ben Gurion International Airport said it is safe to take off from and land in, but that may not calm nerves less than one week after a Malaysia Airlines flight was shot down over Ukraine.
