George H.W. Bush became the first president to reach age 94 on Tuesday. He is the longest-living former president, and only a few months older than Jimmy Carter, who turns 94 in October. The former longest-living president was Gerald Ford, who died in 2006 at age 93. Bush will celebrate his birthday at his home in Maine, said a family spokesman.
