George Soros Sued by Ex for $50M

George Soros, 80, doesn’t spend all his money on liberal causes: Soros’ ex, Adriana Ferreyr, a 28-year-old Brazilian soap-opera star, is suing him for $50 million for a luxury Manhattan condo she says he promised her. Ferreyr and Soros dated for five years after meeting at a charity soiree. The suit claims Soros said he would give her a “dream home” at E. 85th St. but dumped her days after signing the contract and allowed another woman to move in. Soros’ lawyer called the lawsuit “obviously an attempt to extract money from my client, who is a very wealthy man.” Ferreyr also claims that Soros slapped her and tried to choke her once—charges that he denies.
