Ginni Rometty, IBM’s First Female CEO, to Step Down

Ginni Rometty, the first female CEO of IBM, will step down later this year after serving eight years in the role. According to The New York Times, the company—with Rometty at the helm—has struggled to grow and make inroads in new tech fields like artificial intelligence and cloud computing. She will reportedly be replaced by Arvind Krishna, who currently runs the company’s cloud computing operation, in April.
