Rudy Giuliani reportedly snapped at a courtroom sketch artist during a hearing Monday, claiming that they made him look like his dog. Per Reuters, Giuliani told artist Jane Rosenberg, “You made me look like my dog!” during a break in the hearing, where a judge found the former New York City mayor in contempt after failing to turn over information on his assets. Those included his penthouse and Mercedes-Benz, which are subject to seizure after Giuliani slow-walked his payments following a $148 million defamation judgement. Two Georgia election workers sued Giuliani for defamation after he falsely claimed they tampered with ballots during the 2020 presidential election. Giuliani was ordered to give up his New York penthouse, a Mercedes-Benz, and memorabilia, including a Joe DiMaggio jersey, along with money to pay for the judgement in October. Court papers said that Giuliani turned over his penthouse and car, but not the paperwork needed to monetize them. In a statement to the Daily Beast, Giuliani’s spokesman Ted Goodman said that “it’s tragic to watch as our justice system has been turned into a total mockery” and added that the trial is part of an “ongoing politically motivated vendetta” to “destroy” Giuliani.
