A watercolor of Munich’s old city hall painted by Adolf Hitler will be auctioned off this weekend by Nuremberg’s Weidler auction house. The 100-year-old work is expected to earn at lest $60,000—largely due to its artist, not its quality. The painting is one of roughly 2,000 painted by the dictator, and this one is believed to be from 1914, when he was a struggling artist. It is being sold by two sisters whose grandfather purchased it in 1916.
