A terrifying mid-flight ordeal ended safely Friday after a hole opened up in the cabin of a Southwest Airlines flight from Phoenix to Sacramento. Those on board reportedly heard something like a gunshot, and then noticed a panel missing as the plane began descending rapidly. The cabin quickly lost its air pressure, causing several people to pass out due to lack of oxygen, according to one passenger. At least one passenger got a bloody nose when his oxygen mask didn't function. Luckily, the pilot landed safely in Yuma, Arizona, and was rewarded with a round of applause. The Federal Aviation Administration has dispatched an official to investigate.
