‘How I Met Your Mother’ Mom Revealed

There’s still one more season to go on CBS’s How I Met Your Mother, but the show started its final countdown Monday night with the introduction of the now famous “mother” after eight seasons and 184 episodes. Spoiler alert: she’s a totally new character, so all those Robin-Ted fans should start crying now. “The whole idea is that Ted’s never seen this woman before, so it better feel that way to the audience,” said series co-creator Craig Thomas. On Monday night’s episode, Ted met the future love of his life, played by Cristin Milioti, at a Long Island Rail Road station as she purchased a ticket to the fictional Farhampton.
