Broadway star and Frozen voice actress Idina Menzel told The Telegraph recently that a sequel to Disney’s animated snow adventure is on its way. Asked to comment on rumors of a sequel and a stage musical adaptation, Menzel said, “They’re all in the works.” Menzel, who voiced Queen Elsa in the film, also said she hopes to reprise her role for the film sequel. “Not the stage show—I don’t know what will happen with that—but the movie, hopefully,” she said. “We’ll see. I’m just going along for the ride.” Frozen, the top-grossing animated film of all time, has hauled in a massive $1.3 billion worldwide for Disney. A Frozen-themed ice show is currently on tour and a six-minute Frozen short film is also in the works.
