Local politicians aren't required to play super heroes by night, but it probably doesn't hurt. Iowa State Representative Chris Hall, who is up for re-election this year, took a page out of Cory Booker's play book this week and helped fight a fire at a local apartment building. Hall ran outside after hearing shouting from his own apartment to find the building next door going up in smoke. He and a friend called 911 and attempted to help those inside. No one was hurt.
