Israeli forces killed a 10-year-old boy in the Gaza Strip overnight during a strike on a Hamas military base. The airstrikes were in retaliation to Palestinian militants firing rockets towards Israeli border communities on Friday. They boy, Yassin Abu Khoussa, was hit with shrapnel and two of his siblings were wounded.
