Says film about Berlusconi is propaganda.

Cannes doesn’t kick off till Wednesday—but a film on the lineup is already rustling a few feathers. Italian culture minister Sandro Bondi has said that he’ll boycott the festival because a film being screened there casts the Italian government in a bad light. Bondi said that Draquila: Italy Trembles (a film about the earthquake in L’Aquila in which Silvio Berlusconi is impersonated) is a piece of “propaganda offending the truth and the whole Italian people.”
