Ivanka Trump on Sunday denounced neo-Nazis and white supremacists by name in connection with the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, a day after her father condemned violence “on all sides.” Trump, a senior adviser to her father in the White House, wrote on Twitter: “There should be no place in society for racism, white supremacy and neo-nazis.” The president took criticism on Saturday for refusing to directly call out the white supremacists who gathered in Charlottesville, one of whom rammed a car through a crowd, killing one woman.
