Meredith Gaudreau, the wife of the late NHL star Johnny Gaudreau, just welcomed their third child. The now mother-of-three made the announcement via Instagram on Monday, April 7, seven months after her husband and his brother were tragically killed by a drunk driver. Meredith Gaudreau, who gave birth to her son Carter Michael Gaudreau on April 1, shared a 14-photo carousel including pictures of their family and her two other children.“I had our third baby! 4/1/25. Another baby boy 🥹💙" she wrote in the caption. “Carter Michael Gaudreau—same middle name as his daddy. 8lb 3 ounces, 20.5 inches—exact same as his daddy. He looks exactly like his daddy too 🥰.” In her caption, she added, “I love you so much my baby! We are going to have so much fun. I can’t wait to give you the best life, my special boy forever.” On Aug. 29, 2024, Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew were biking on Country Route 551 North at around 8 p.m. when a drunken driver attempted to overtake another car and drove into the brothers. During the brothers’ memorial service on Sept. 9, Meredith Gaudreau announced that she was nine weeks pregnant and expecting another child with her late husband, People reported.
