In closing arguments on Friday, the prosecution painted a haunting picture of Arias—a California waitress and budding photographer—as a manipulative liar and killer. Although Arias continues to deny involvement in the death, authorities say she planned the attack in a “jealous rage” after witnessing Alexander pursue other women.
