Even Justin Bieber has bad days. The 31-year-old pop icon got real about his mental health struggles on Instagram Thursday, posting to his story that he’s “always felt unworthy.”

The Canadian singer has 294 million Instagram followers and has performed for crowds around the globe. But just like his song, Bieber still gets a little “Lonely” sometimes.

“People told me my whole life ‘wow Justin u deserve that’ and I personally have always felt unworthy, like I was a fraud,” he posted on a white background with Gold-Tiger’s song “Sneaky Sneaky” playing.

Bieber added that he always felt “sneaky” when people told him that he deserved something. “Damn if they only knew my thoughts, how judgmental I am, how selfish I really am, they wouldn’t be saying this,” he said.

Bieber told his followers that they aren’t alone.

“If you feel sneaky welcome to the club,” he wrote. “I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days,” he wrote.

Bieber was a child star who became famous at only 15. He’s often opened up about the challenges of dealing with fame at a young age and his struggles with depression and anxiety.

When the singer was 25, he wrote in a post, “It’s hard to get out of bed in the morning with the right attitude when you are overwhelmed with your life, your past, job, responsibilities, emotions, your family, finances, your relationships.”

He said he sympathized with anyone who sees the day “through lenses of ‘dread’ and anticipate[s] another bad day” or a “cycle of feeling disappointment after disappointment.”

Bieber said then that he didn’t grow up in a stable home, and the pressure of the spotlight caused him to crack. Even with money, clothes, cars, accolades, achievements, and awards, he was still “unfulfilled.”

He’s also come clean about the “bad decisions” he’s made, including heavy drug use.

In his documentary series “Justin Bieber: Sessions,” Bieber even admitted that his security and staff would come into his room at night to check his pulse, concerned that the young star had overdosed on prescription pills, lean, or MDMA.

But fans are worried that his addiction is resurfacing. At wife Hailey Bieber’s recent Rhode skincare event, he went viral on TikTok for what fans called “strange” behavior. At the time, Hailey said she was “really concerned” for her husband, Page Six reported.

On Bieber’s 31st birthday in early March, he shared a photo of himself smoking out of a glass bong. His representative denied substance-abuse rumors at the time, but Bieber continued to confuse and troll fans with videos of himself smoking and rapping about being high.

Bieber also posted a bizarre message last week on Instagram, insisting, “nothing is owed to us and we don’t owe anyone anything.”

Still, Bieber’s team told TMZ that the drug use allegations were “exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”

They added that Bieber is focused on raising his new baby, Jack Blues.
