The G7 summit is underway in Sicily and while there haven’t been any awkward Trump moments, yet, there is one thing people are freaking out about: These photos of the first meeting between French President Emmanuel Macron and the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.
Snapped on Friday, the photos show the dapper leaders strolling along the waterfront, chatting and shaking hands.
“Sitting down with @EmmanuelMacron for the first time, talking jobs, security & climate – looking forward to more conversations, my friend,” Trudeau tweeted with a few of the pics.
Macron followed up with a video: "The Franco-Canadian friendship has a new face. @JustinTrudeau, we have to meet the challenges of our generation!"
The reactions, well, were as expected.
