Kaitlin Armstrong, the woman suspected of killing cyclist Anna “Mo” Wilson in a jealousy-fueled May murder, has landed in Austin, Texas, and been charged with first-degree murder. Armstrong, 34, was booked into the Travis County Jail on Tuesday afternoon, and is being held on what was earlier reported to be a $3.5 million bail. She faces an additional charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, having fled the country under a false name to spend 43 days on the run, according to the Austin American-Statesman. Armstrong was captured in Costa Rica on Wednesday; by Saturday, she was back in stateside, with footage showing U.S. Marshals escorting her through a Houston airport. When authorities finally caught up to Armstrong, officials said, the yoga teacher and amateur cyclist had changed her appearance, cutting and dying her once-blond hair.
