A day after the QB went on a conspiracy-laden rant blasting ESPN execs and refusing to apologize to Jimmy Kimmel, McAfee announced Rodgers’ TV season was over.
CNN anchor Pamela Brown recalled an instance nearly a decade ago when Aaron Rodgers brought up a “very disturbing, debunked conspiracy theory” while the two were talking.
Rodgers doubled down on the unhinged behavior while claiming he never baselessly accused Kimmel of being “the p-word.”
The network has said it will internally handle the matter of McAfee publicly attacking Norby Williamson, its longtime head of event and studio production.
Jemele Hill took to X to say she could relate to Pat McAfee.
“Hopefully those two will just be able to settle this, you know, not work wise but be able to chit chat and move along,” McAfee said.
The arrangement is unusual given ESPN’s status as a news operation.
