Asked if he’d work with Allen, the actor said: “If I say no... then all I’m doing is saying, ‘I believe in this system that cancels people.’”
Cox said “maybe” Spacey “got too out of hand,” but he shouldn’t be “punished endlessly.”
The actress defended Spacey again and offered her theory for why his blacklisting has persisted: "He offended men."
The new award’s organizers said he “unquestionably deserves the chance to get his career back.”
