He said that his show will not feature a desk, that Brian Williams will file reports that are rejected from NBC Nightly News, and will include comedians like D.L. Hughley filing field reports. Not everything will change: Leno will still deliver an opening monologue. Leno admitted that he will compete with his successor at the Tonight Show, Conan O’Brien, for guests, but said that the rivalry will be friendly.
