Lords Speaker Quits After Drug Video

Lord Sewel, the deputy speaker of the House of Lords in British Parliament, resigned after a video surfaced of him allegedly taking drugs with prostitutes. The footage showed Sewel snorting powder off of a woman's breast with money. Lords Speaker Baroness D'Souza called his behavior "shocking and unacceptable." Sewel is currently under a police inquiry. "These serious allegations will be referred to the House of Lords commissioner for standards and the Metropolitan Police for investigation as a matter of urgency," D'Souza said.
