Mac Miller Died From Fentanyl, Cocaine Overdose: TMZ

Rapper Mac Miller, who passed away on Sept. 7 at the age of 26, died of a fentanyl and cocaine overdose, according to an official autopsy report cited Monday by TMZ. The report, released by the L.A. County Coroner’s Office, states that Miller died from a “mixed drug toxicity” that included fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol. A search of his home reportedly revealed a litany of other drugs, including Xanax and oxycodone. In Miller’s right pocket, police recovered a rolled-up $20 bill with a powdery residue. The report states that Miller’s assistant found him unresponsive in a “praying position,” with his face on his knees and blood flowing out of his nose. As The Daily Beast reported at the time of his death, Miller had a long history of drug abuse that he chronicled openly in his music.
