Mommy blogger Candice Miller has shared a cryptic post 11 months after her husband died by suicide as he struggled with a secret financial crisis.
Miller had deleted the entirety of her social media, which had been used to showcase a lavish life and promote her Mama and Tata blog, which featured her, her children and her sister.
But on Tuesday, Miller posted a picture of the sea and the sun shining through clouds with a quote from Albert Camus, the French existentialist novelist: “In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back."
Brandon Miller died by suicide in the garage of their home on July 3, 2024. His death ended the idyllic family lifestyle Candice had posted about on Instagram and left the grieving widow with debts of around $33.6 million and only $8,000 in the bank, according to The New York Times.

He died of carbon monoxide poisoning in his Porsche at the couple’s $12 million home in the Hamptons while Candice and her two daughters were on vacation in a resort on Italy’s Amalfi Coast.
After her husband’s death, Candice inherited $15 million from her his life insurance policy—barely half of the debts he left behind from his failed Manhattan property development business. He had learned of some of the debts himself at his father’s funeral then run up his own debts.

Miller has always maintained she did not know the extent of her husband’s financial problems. The New York Times reported last year that she was on the hook for around $20million in unsecured loans and had denied being liable for tens of thousands of unpaid rent from their Park Avenue apartment.
She spent at least $4 million to settle a lawsuit over one of her husband’s debts shortly after his death and later sold the family’s Hamptons mansion as well as items inside the house to pay off the loans, the Daily Mail reported.
The Hamptons house netted $12.8million for Candice and had five mortgages totaling $12 million of secured loans taken out against it while the couple lived there.
