A Canadian man found the bodies of his wife and their 10-month-old daughter after an apparent bear attack in the Yukon Territory, authorities said. The incident happened Monday outside their cabin near Einarson Lake. Officials said the man said he was charged by a grizzly bear as he returned to the cabin and was forced to shoot and kill it—and then found the bodies of his wife and child. The woman has been named by authorities as Valerie Theoret, 37, and her daughter was called Adele. “It appears they had been out for a walk when the incident occurred,” the local coroner’s service said. The family had been living in the cabin for three months.
