Michael Madsen’s youngest son, Luke, posted a touching tribute to the Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill star. “My Hero Wore a Cowboy Hat,” the 19-year-old wrote in an Instagram post, where he shared three photos of himself and his father, including two in which the actor is wearing a white cowboy hat. “My Hero Stood Taller And Stronger Than Any Man I’ve Ever Met. My Hero Understood Me Better Than Anyone,” Luke continued. He described his father as “The Coolest Most Bada-- Human Being” he knows, as well as the “Famous Tough Guy Movie Star” we all know. “My Hero Was My Father. And He Was. Damn Good One,” Luke said. “Love You Pops. I’ll See You Again Someday. Tell Hudson I Said Hi.” Hudson Madsen, Luke’s older brother, died by suicide in 2022. The touching message is one of many that have been shared after Madsen, 67, died from cardiac arrest at his home in Malibu, California on Thursday morning. Madsen’s younger sister, Oscar-nominated actress Virginia Madsen, shared her own touching memories of her brother on Thursday, shortly after news of his death was announced.
