Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens Holds Firm as GOP Leaders Threaten Impeachment

Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens (R) tweeted on Tuesday night that he would not be resigning, even as Republican legislators in the state are calling for him to step down and threatening impeachment. “[T]his matter will go to a court of law—where it belongs and where the facts will prove my innocence,” Greitens said. He is accused of misusing a charity donor list and blackmailing a woman with whom he had an extramarital affair. Greitens has denied the allegations against him.
