More Than 80 Million People Brace for U.S. Snow Storm

More than 80 million people in the U.S. are under “winter weather alerts” as a snow storm travels from the Midwest to the Northeast, according to CNN. The storm, which started developing Saturday, dumped snow on the Central Plains, and is poised to bring snow, rain, or a “wintery mix” to large portions of the East Coast. Missouri and Kansas might experience from two-to-four inches of snow, whereas the Ohio River Valley might see two inches of snow. New York, Boston, and Philadelphia will see rain Sunday, followed by some snow in the evening, per CNN. Boston is reportedly expected to get five-to-ten inches of snow, whereas New York might get from four-to-eight inches. Philadelphia is bracing for two-to-four inches of snow.
