More violence at U.S. Embassy in Cairo

Angry protestors hurled rocks, set a car aflame, and pushed through barbed wire fences outside the American embassy in Cairo, injuring a dozen people Wednesday. Five hundred demonstrators were finally pushed from the embassy perimeters early Thursday morning. The film demonstrators are protesting sparked riots in Libya Tuesday, and resulted in the death of a U.S. ambassador and three staffers. Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi denounced the attacks but said "The Egyptian people, both Muslims and Christians, refuse such insults on sanctities." Protests against the film swept through other Muslim countries Wednesday, from Morocco to Iran and the mystery surrounding its filmmaker continues.
