Museum of London Renovation

Facelift

The modern galleries at the Museum of London—encompassing the entire first floor of the Barbican building—re-opened May 28, after nearly three years and $30 million in renovations. The 7,000-piece collection will be displayed in three main rooms, and the artwork is from the Great Fire of 1666 to present. This is the largest renovation at the Museum of London since it moved to its current location at Barbican building.
