NASA is helping authorities in Texas investigate the murder of 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes, according to a report. The U.S. space agency has enhanced surveillance video of the truck which is believed to be linked to Barnes’s murder, KHOU-11 reports. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office had asked NASA to assist with the video. Barnes was killed in a drive-by shooting on Sunday after a suspect, described as a “a white male with no beard” driving a red pickup truck, pulled up to her mother and three siblings near a Walmart parking lot. The man, who has yet to be identified, then opened fire, killing Barnes. Andy Kahan, director of victims’ services for CrimeStoppers, also reportedly said that it’s been “inundated” with tips.
