Ninety-five more women have sued the University of Southern California, claiming campus gynecologist George Tyndall sexually assaulted them and the university failed to protect them. The number of patients suing USC now stands at more than 400—they accuse the university of deliberately concealing abuse by Tyndall for decades. Andy Rubenstein, whose firm is representing hundreds of Tyndall’s former patients, said that “the survivors we represent are furious, and rightfully so. They are not going away.” Tyndall was the only full-time gynecologist at the school’s student health clinic for 30 years. The university told CNN: “We are aware of the lawsuits. We will be seeking a prompt and fair resolution that is respectful of our former students. We are committed to providing the women of USC with the best, most thorough and respectful health-care services of any university.”
