New Storm Headed for Philippines

The Philippines has hardly begun to clean up after typhoon Haiyan, but it’s already bracing for another storm. Zoraida, a tropical depression with reportedly erratic movement, is expected to hit the island nation on Tuesday morning. While the Philippines is the target of about 20 typhoons every year, the October earthquake that destroyed the homes of more than 350,000 people has made such storms even harder for the country to handle. Rescue workers are searching for survivors of Haiyan, which made landfall in the Philippines four days ago and killed an estimated 10,000 people.
