New York City Subway Rider Killed After Clothing Got Caught on Moving Train

A New York City subway rider was killed at Grand Central Terminal on Tuesday evening when a piece of clothing got caught on a moving train. The 39-year-old victim was dragged underneath the train, according to law enforcement officials. The victim has not been identified. They were found in the East River tunnel of the seven train on the Queens-bound side just outside the station, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said. Service on the 7 line was suspended for hours during the emergency response.
