North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has accepted President Donald Trump’s invitation to visit the United States, according to North Korea’s state-run news agency. “The two top leaders gladly accepted each other’s invitation, convinced that it would serve as another important occasion for improved DPRK-US relations,” reads a statement from the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). The state-run media outlet also said Trump vowed to scrap the U.S.’s annual joint military exercises with South Korea, which the president mentioned after meeting with Kim in Singapore.
