Djokovic Wins Australian Open, Ties Nadal for Most Majors

Novak Djokovic won his 10th Australian Open on Sunday, breaking his own record for the tournament and tying Rafael Nadal for the most major championships won by a man in tennis. The Serbian player’s victory comes a year after he was deported from Australia and bounced from the tourney because he was not vaccinated against COVID. His win—6-3, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5) over Stefanos Tsitsipas—restores him to the top of world rankings.
