It's just as well that cats have nine lives. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspected serial attacker believed to be on the loose and taking pop-shots at pets in Oakland, California. Local shelter Oakland Animal Services says it's taken in four cats over the last five weeks which were all suffering from the same severe injuries after being shot at with a pellet gun. Friends of Oakland Animal Services is offering the hefty reward for information which brings an end to the suspected cat attacker's rampage. All the attacks took place in or around the city's Lower Diamond neighborhood. In a Facebook post, the cat shelter wrote: “We encourage the public to be vigilant with their own pets.”
